Dr. Deval Shah DDS, D. ABDSM, LaGrange Park Dentist

Dr. Deval Shah was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2002. After completing a one-year intensive General Practice Residency hospital based training program at Advocate Illinois Masonic, she began working in a private practice office in Oak Lawn. During this time, she also served part time on the dental staff at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital training future dentists, and later at the University of Chicago Dental Department providing treatment to underserved children at La Rabida Children’s Hospital with their mobile unit. She has been providing care at Generations Family Dentistry since 2013 and loves being part of the LaGrange Park Community!

Dr. Shah believes it is of utmost importance to stay current with the technologies and advances in dentistry to provide the best care for you. She regularly attends seminars, study clubs and continuing education courses. Dr. Shah has trained extensively and become a Diplomate with American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine making her uniquely trained to help manage sleep apnea alongside your physician.

In her moments away from the office she enjoys time with her husband and kids! She enjoys reading, traveling to new destinations and trying new recipes!

Dr. Shah strongly believes in preventative dentistry through routine checkups and identifying any issues before they become problems. She looks forward to the opportunity to be a partner in helping you achieve and maintain that healthy beautiful smile.
